Dan Lerman is an SAT/ACT tutor, cognitive scientist, and tutor trainer with over two decades of experience getting students unstuck and into their dream schools. He founded and leads the Columbia Professional Tutoring Program at Teachers College, Columbia University, the only university-backed tutor training program in the country. He holds a PhD in Cognitive Science in Education and founded The League of Exceptional Tutors. He creates educational videos for 110,000 subscribers on Scalar Learning and runs the Tutor Dojo for career tutors. Based in Larchmont Village, Los Angeles, he teaches intensive boot camps in London and New York.
